Who we are

Founded in 2008 as a continuation of the work of the “l’Association des Producteurs d’Oeuvres Multimédia”, the Syndicat National du Jeu Vidéo is the professional trade association that brings together French video game production & publishing companies, including all organizations involved in production activities in France, and partners of video game development.

The SNJV works to promote the growth and competitiveness of the video game industry in France and to enhance the country’s attractiveness. The SNJV’s goal is to enable video game production companies based in France to accelerate their growth and strengthen their competitiveness in the international market.

The SNJV also brings together educational institutions that offer training in video game-related professions within its dedicated network of video game schools.

Our missions

  To represent and defend the interests of the industry in dealings with government authorities and the media

   To support our members on a daily basis: HR Club, CFO Club, Expert Network

  To grow the video game industry:

• Pégases Business Club: meetings of a dedicated video game business club, held in conjunction with our industry’s flagship events
• France Gaming Angels: organizing pitch sessions for young entrepreneurs and running the business angels club

The Board

The Association Board consists of 12 Directors, elected for a two-year term by our members during our General Assembly. The President is then elected by the Association Board.
